Waders - Northumberland coast (UK) yesterday

I’m a bit perplexed by these 2 photographed yesterday. I think they are both Sanderling but the plumage looks odd. Any thoughts welcome.

    African vulture

Can anyone assign this vulture to species please? Taken in Zimbabwe in 1988 I am thinking possibly White backed. Unfortunately my Roberts guide is in a box somewhere in the loft Many thanks Nick

    Zambian Raptor

Many thanks. I have both species on my trip list but this slide was labelled as 'unidentified raptor' for some reason.

    South African eagle

Lockdown has given time to digitalise my slide collection. I came across this one taken in 1992 in the Karoo region of South Africa. I had it labelled as 'unidentified eagle' but my thoughts are Verreaux's. Quality isn't great but any thoughts are welcome. Cheers Nick

    Acres Down

I've finally got time to visit Acres Down this weekend. Is the viewpoint sign posted from the car park? Trawling the internet I can't find a definitive location for the viewpoint. Regards
