    Barn owl caught on camera just before the sun disappeared Thursday at the flashes- best part of the day with fabulous sunshine, but very cold! This guy posed for just a short moment before being mobbed by several gulls, sending him on his return to the barn to the far right of the hide.

    A young Water Rail viewed mid-morning at the North Moors Pool. Med Gull also spotted at Moors.

    Seems love was in the air today!! Three flocks of lapwing were also seen heading towards the Moors, but only one group landed - the other two flocks making off to the Flashes by the looks of things; at a guess there must have been over 300 lapwings around. A number of cormorants also moving...
