    Hi Nora, I've just come back myself after a long absence. Excellent shot. Aren't they magnificent birds. I see them regularly at the Western Treatment Plant and it's always a thrill.

    Widespread and common, but always a delight to see. I didn't notice any bees, but there were countless millions of mosquitoes; too small, unfortunately, for a bee-eater to be interested in.
