    Noctivid eyecups

    My Leica Noctivid 8x42 have been back 3 times to Leica Portugal as they seize up at the focus ends of the range. They say it is because I force the focus? No others I tried do it.

    I have noctivid 8x42 (which I do not recommend owing to focus issues) .I use the eyecup retracted and have Zeiss night owls rubber eyecup fitted. Nice and comfy .

    Ultravid 7x42 HD+ vs Noctivid 8x42

    Nigel I own the Noctivid 8x42 and whilst the optics and colour are as good as my old Zeiss night owls , I have found serious issues with focus sticking. Once I get them back yet again from Leica Portugal they will be sold and either NL or SF purchased.

    Leica Noctivid problems

    Dear all. I have a pair of Leica Noctivid which are now 2 years old. They have been with Leica for approx 6 months in total owing to a problem where they jam at each end of the focus range. Sometimes just picking them up they are jammed. Leica state it is my fault as I go to the end of the range...
