    But the 10x25 and 8x20 have the same 2.5 ER. Should be the same light transmission but coatings maybe different. Swarovski CL 10x25 88 procent, Leica Ultravid 8x20?

    Yes for that scenarios. But how many times you need a binoculair in cities. But i understand its useful and fun to have a small pocket bino. I will buy the Curio next year for that.

    The Curio is good. But just a little bit bigger and the view is much better and bigger (AFOV ) from the VP 8x25 i think. More like a real binoculair. Could be your only one. Still light and small enough to hang around your neck all day, the cheapest alpha. Looks like a 8x30/32. But ok., it...

    I dont know exactly. I got new bin after dioptre broke. Recently.The size of the dioptre is little bit smaller. It doenst stick out any more that much.

    I would not keep it in your jacket. I only to that for short time and then hang around my neck. Normally i keep it in my day pack and then hang around my neck If you put it in your pockets yes. But its a bit less in view

    True, but the newer ones are less exposed. A few millimeters. I guess they made it better. True, not a that pocketalble. But better view.
