    UK Gull Aug22 Caspian?

Not great with gulls but when I went for the Cape Gull at Grafham Water, I noticed this gull. I see a darker mantle than herring, slim bill, small darker eye, clean head and high chest. Is this a 2nd cycle caspian or could it be a yellow-legged gull.

    Dorset birding

It was great to meet you Steve. Would have liked to have stayed and watched the spotted, but the information on the status of the two barred was too tempting. Got it from 4m, sideways on,in binoculars maybe 1-2 secs. Very neat bird! Thanks ago. 😀

Guernsey wow wow sounding bill clapping

Hi I thought of white Storks for the clapping sound. Compared to sound clips it was slower and not long in duration, each burst. The wow wow wow I can't find as a stork sound. The sound may have been within 50m. Sea only 5min walk away. Thanks for both your thoughts.
