    Anyone here use pastels?

That does look great on the black card! Makes the blue really pop out. I really enjoy the vibrant color! Kate

Sadly, I'm not sure what variety it is... I actually titled it "Bunny by the Wall". Maybe someone will come along that can give it a positive ID. Could be a rabbit or a hare and I'd still call it a "bunny". Need to work on that... LOL

Although this isn't a bird, it is one of my favorite ink drawings. Took days getting all the little details just right, but I felt it was worth it for the end result. :)

    What is your favorite Bird!

I don't really have a favorite, but black-capped chickadees and ruby throat hummingbirds are right up there. It all depends on what I've seen most recently. lol If it's got feathers, I like it.

Welcome to Nick's dining room table.

I like it. You know, the birds don't always do things that are "artful", but it really looks as though you've captured them well. It's nice and loose which helps depict how busy the birds are.

That bird is wonderful by the way! The background looks perfect with it! Do you have more to show off? :) I would like to see more!

Check ebay for it. Sometimes, people clear out their stuff and sell it at a discount on ebay. It's one way to get dicontinued papers. I believe you can set it so ebay will send auctions to your email when one comes up, so you don't have to check on it all the time to see if any is available...

Didn't see a whole lot for bird life that would stay for more than 2 seconds, but this section of the brook looked interesting. I really liked the way the water rippled around the rocks and sparkled as it spilled over them. So, it became the composition of this 5" x 7" watercolor sketch.

Anyone tried selling original artwork on E-Bay??

Yes, Irina does pretty well! She's got about 88 sales for the past month and that ACEO ended at $109. Now, remember an ACEO only measures 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches, the same as a standard trading card. That's inches of work for over $100. No, not everyone's art will ever do that well, but she...
