    Eurasian Sparrowhawk? Afghanistan

I'm not sure if this is the Sparrowhawk or possibly a Eastern Marsh Harrier. Photo was taken in Kabul, Afghanistan. Thanks for any input.

    Another Buzzard in Afghanistan?

I have been trying to get a decent picture of this buzzard in Mazar I Sharif. This is not very good but the best I have for now. I think it's a Common Buzzard but not 100% sure. Sorry for the bad shot.

    Buzzard? in Afghanistan.

Thanks, there is a buzzard, kite, or harrier that I have been trying to get a shot of in Mazar I Sharif but my timing is always wrong. If I do get a pic, I'll be posting it to try and figure out what it is.

    Buzzard? in Afghanistan.

I am sure this is another Long Legged Buzzard. It's probably even the same Buzzard from last week. I just wanted to get a clearer picture up to leave no doubt.

    Buzzard? in Afghanistan.

No resting shots yet but I caught it passing by. Its much more skittish than I would have expected. I imagine though...they are not treated very nice buy the locals here.

    Buzzard? in Afghanistan.

I took the photo 2 days ago. I have been looking for it often to get some better pictures with more detail. I will keep looking and post anymore shots I take. Thank you for all of the info.

    Buzzard? in Afghanistan.

The more I compare it to other buzzards over here, I'm leaning toward Long Legged Buzzard.

This was taken in Kabul. Most of the buzzards look the same to me. Thank you...

Mysterious blue bird. Mazar i Sharif, Afghanistan

You guys are fast. Wow, I have spent hours on the internet trying to find out what this was. After 5 minutes on this forum, it looks like you nailed it. There are about 4-6 from what I can count near the airport in Konduz. I think I originally posted Mazar i Sharif but it was Konduz. Not that...
