The return of the Barn Owl

It would likely have been a male raising the young of first brood while also having to feed his mate sitting on a second clutch. Tom.

    Ultravid focus wheel issue !

I've used leica repair service only once and from posting bins to receiving them fully repaired took six days.I call that a more than excellent service and it was less than a year ago.I've recently purchased the 8x42 BR and find the focus wheel super smooth. There's no sticky or notchety movement...

    Opticron microscope

Whilst looking through W/house exp. site, i saw a mini microscope set up reduced by fifty quid to £19.99.Anyone know of this set up? I'm no amatuer scientist, but thought that it may be a handy little gizmo for having a close look at any discarded or dead bits and pieces found whilst out and...

    What price for used Televid?

It's maybe not silicone,I can't remember the specs' on the packaging, but it seems to work better than a lens cloth.

    What price for used Televid?

Does anyone else use a lens pen as sold by jessops amongst others? It has a brush at one end and a dry silicone? type of felt at the other.I've used one for several years without any damage to coatings.

Glad to hear you all had a good day.The melanistic pheasant:there's a dark colour type that is bred in the area. There's usually a good size covey of r.l. parts' where you saw one. So,would you recommend the area to others who may have dismissed it in favour of better known parts of Scotland(just...
