Identification

40-43 cm. Dark brown, dark pink breast.

Distribution

Western Canary Islands.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Mountain laurel forest.

Behaviour

It builds a stick nest in a tree. 1 white egg is laid.
