The Bismarck Archipelago consists of a group of islands off the northeastern coast of New Guinea in the Pacific Ocean. It belongs politically to Papua New Guinea.
The following islands and island groups belong to the archipelago:

  • Admiralty Islands, including Manus, Los Negros and 16 other islands
  • Western Islands, including six islands
  • New Ireland
  • New Hanover
  • New Britain
