Distribution
South America: found in the Andes of south-eastern Peru and north-western Bolivia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Dry and wet mountainous forests. Can often be seen along canyons, around human settlements and fruit orchards.
Behaviour
Diet
There is not a lot known. They appear to eat arthropods and insects, small vertebrates, fruit and nectar. They also catch moths.
