Identification

Distribution

Africa
Western Africa: Equatorial Guinea and Democratic Republic of Congo
Eastern Africa: Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Forest clearings, woodland, urban gardens, 1600m a.s.l.

Behaviour

Diet

The diet mostly of flying insects - bees, moths, dragonflies, etc.

Breeding

They nest in burrows.
