Out now: Hawlitschek, Oliver, Rémy, Eudeline and Rouillé, Antoine:
"Terrestrial fauna of the Comoros Archipelago / Faune Terrestre de l'Archipel des Comores"

Bilingual photographic field giude that covers birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, chelicerates, myriapods, crustaceans, insects, molluscs and flatworms.
Short introductary chapters on the islands and sites.

Would be a very nice complement to bring with the bird guide when visiting the Comoros.

Is there a photograph of the Anjouan sparrowhawk in this book?

I can’t comment on that detail as I’ve not seen the book but I have passable photos of Anjouan Sparrowhawk and one of the folks that was with me got pretty good photos. If you have a need for them feel free to drop me a line. Definitely not a frequently seen bird.

We would love to have one of your photos for the gallery and the Opus here in Birdforum!

Don't think so, there are 2 photos of Frances's Sparrowhawk, one is griveaudi, but doesn't say which ssp the other is.
Thank you very much for the information. Yesterday I've found photos in the internet that are apparently showing the Anjouan sparrowhawk:
