Could I have some help with identifying these birds taken end of Jan near Panama City on the pipeline trail Gamboa area

I am guessing plain-colored Tanager for the last bird.

For the next two, which seems to be the same bird, might be a Beardless Tyrannulet; however, there should not be this much yellow in the face. There are other tyrannulets with more yellow, but I am not sure they show this much crest.

Agree. Contrasts with the bright yellow wing bars on 397 which should therefore be forest elaenia.

I think 01, 98, 99 are all the same bird, albeit under very different lighting. Only 01 gives me the impression of a beardless tyrannulet.

I would not be surprised if 97 turns out to be an Elaenia sp.

Yes it's forest elaenia (see previous post)

Thank you all for your help on this. The lighting was very harsh and reflected off the bright coloured leaves onto the birds. Very challenging😅

Forest Elaenia does not have a crest. It'll be a Yellow-bellied Elaenia.

To be honest, looking quickly again, isn't it just the same Southern Beardless Tyrannulet?
