The perfect Christmas present for the birder or nature-lover. Ronnie combines beautiful lyrics with catchy tunes, gorgeous harmonies and clear production. He captures the birds in their environment, drawing on his knowledge of their behaviour and characteristics. Curlew is my favourite, following the birds from their moorland breeding grounds to their winter shore, the curlew's song introducing the track before the guitars come in. Uplifting stuff.
