I just received a pair of Victory HT 8x54 and tried to adjust the diopter setting for my eyes but the wheel will not move at all. I read that it is stiff so you don't accidentally change it during...

Zeiss Victory HT 8x54

What did you think of it once you had a chance to use it? By May 2018 they should have fixed the soft image problem if they were ever going to. Thanks.

Zeiss Victory HT 8x54

How long ago did you try the HT 8x54? I was hoping that they have improved their quality. What did you find disappointing - the lack of sharp/clear image noted in Henry's 2014 review and others?

[QUOTE=cthomas]At this site http://www.bogenimaging.us/ the 357 is listed as an Adapter 3/8WF - 5/8 Male. Not as a sliding plate. The only two things I liked about the 700RC2 was it's low weight and...

[QUOTE=marco]B (: The 357 sliding plate will fit on the 700rc2 head, in fact on any head using a 1/4 or 3/8 inch male thread. It has a serious effect on improving the balance of the scope with camera...

The Bogen/Manfrotto technical support person claimed that the 200CZ1 Zeiss plate would also prevent the fastening screw from loosening as it would on a standard plate.

On my old tripod (which is...

Thanks for the input. I not sure I can explain it well or if I may be missing something. The way the Bogen/Manfrotto tech described it is that whenever a tripod w/scope is carried around - and...

Head, plate & scope falling off.

I recently bought a Zeiss 85 T FL 20-60 green/angled scope. I'm love the scope but want to upgrade my tripod. I will probably get a Bogen/Manfrotto 055 series legs (3221WN or 3021BN) but I'm trying...

I live in Fairbanks, Alaska and this is my first post. I recently bought a Zeiss 85 T FL 20-60 green/angled scope. I'm very happy with the scope. I'm not happy with the excessive vibration I...
