    Hi I find myself in Stockholm with a day to go birding. What's the best place I can get a train, bus or taxi to (maybe an hour or 2 travel) to look for pygmy owl, three-toed woodpecker? Jon

    How long does it take to get to 500 (BOU/BUBO)

    As I drift slowly towards 500 I was wondering how long it would take to get there had I not almost stopped twiiching for 20+ years. I hit 400 in 1990 getting 21 ticks in that year. That was subsequently followed by two years with 12 and 14 ticks. Then I got engaged, married, had kids etc.. . ...
