    Mystery bird of prey It was hovering quite low over a heathy field About 2 or 3 times bigger than a kestrel It was dark/medium brown Wings- medium length with no point but not blunt. This is all I know as I was driving in a car as I saw it (slow and close enough to see it properly though)

    Snow bunting in suburban area?

    Today I spotted on someone's TV ariel a smallish white bird with this middle pitched song:ip-ip-ip-ip-tiiiiip Could this be a male snow bunting in summer plumage in the middle of a housing estate?
