    Thrush dilemma

    Hey guys, I'm colorblind (more accurately "color deficient") so Thrush ID can be real tough on me because I cannot see rufous very well. I was wondering if this would be a Swainson's or a Hermit. I think I may be seeing the buffy spectacles a Swainson's would show, but I'm just not sure...

    Ducks in Georgia

    Taken this afternoon at Phinizy Swamp Nature Park in Augusta, Ga. Hoping for American Black Duck. Photo 1 - the bird on the far right resembles a drake AMBD. Photo 2 - also bird on the right. Hen AMBD? Or Mallard? Almost looks like a Mexican Mallard.
