Have had pretty much nothing stay in the garden for 2 days now except a squirrel. The song thrush has chased away everything. My garden normally has birds all day long from sunrise. Chaffinches, Dunnock, Robins, Tits, Blackbirds, Pigeons, Fieldfare.. etc etc . Now its just empty and miserable...

I had around 13 fieldfare feeding over the past week they are all gone. It is attacking and chasing off anything that comes near the garden. Now my garden is...

Hmm Aren't the legs the wrong colour for a common gull? I read they should be more greenish.

Very busy at the bird feeder today!

Cheers Banana. That's cool THE30, Song Thrush are surprisingly dominant in my garden. I do wonder if its the same 2 though sometimes.. I can only imagine they are losing half of their weight over night. They go to bed enormous and the next morning look so skinny. I cant imagine its 2 new song...

    Ringed Mute Swan Spotted (Bedfordshire)

Hi folks. Today In the middle of a snowstorm I was photographing some Mute swans that were hanging around with the whoopers at wardown, Luton. Managed to see a large red ring-tag (whatever it is called) around one of the mutes. The code was in black writing. It was under water but I think the...

^Also had a bullfinch visit the last few days, It will only stay at the back of the garden on the border though. Kind of annoying because its 100ft away and in some rough terrain. Hard to get a photo. 3 Days ago 4 Fieldfare turned up and have made the garden home, Eating up apples all day...

    Canon SX50 Specs

Have had this camera a little over a week, Consider all the bird shots in my stream are through double glazing window. The starling shot from around 70ft away. I think its a pretty amazing camera. My only advice would be to not use it in automatic mode. It seems to like to make everything overly...
