testing out my new tamron 150-600, this shot from about 50 yards away, couldnt get closer as hedge and barbed wire fence in the way. open farmland with trees along the hedges. also caught in flight even more distant with what looked like either a juvenile or maybe it was hunting or chasing off...

Intermittent focusing problems after wearing glasses

sounds like the reading glasses were causing your eyes to adjust to the glasses ( having worn glasses for over 40 years i know this effect ) and when switching back to non glasses use the eyes can take a while to adjust as they no longer have the "enhanced" vision when you had when using the...

Best Micro 4/3 Cam and Lenses for Wildlife Photography & Max Zooms for Micro 4/3?

sorry its not so much misunderstood as my head was thinking in terms of Mirrorless compacts rather than MFT , as i immediatly assumed that was what the op was interested in as opposed to a fixed lens compact mft. so to correct myself . in terms of MIRRORLESS compacts you can get varying sensor...

Best Micro 4/3 Cam and Lenses for Wildlife Photography & Max Zooms for Micro 4/3?

you can get the caon EOS M MFT camera and use EOS lenses on it. though i think a canon 400mm L would look rather odd an the EOS M. in terms of sensor size , apart from one or two exceptions the mft sensors are very small so you get a fair loss of image quality and you have to consider the...

Sweet spot peculiarities; I can´t get the center as sharp as the periphery

can i ask , when did you last have an eye test ( if ever ). you may think you have good eyesight but when we hit our 40's our eyesight can change considerably and degrade but we may not notice it and compensate naturally without awareness. if the issue was with just one pair binoculars you could...
