    Hi Jo , welcome to the forum! Where I live , crows mobbing Buzzards are common. It's quite a spectacle ,and you sometimes hear the Buzzards doing their cat like 'mewing' call. Happy birding! :)

    It's Male Sparrowhawk. You can tell by the orangey colour to the cheek on the second picture , a characteristic that male Sparrowhawks posses. Also , it doesn't seem as bulky and stocky as a Goshawk would be. Nice spot , LowellMills :)
