Is this a bird? Seen in UK

Hello everyone, I have some perplexing pictures taken today in the UK. I see something pale in a tree hollow (roughly centre of the pictures) and I am not sure whether this is a bird. I understand that the pictures are low quality and so I do not expect to be able to say for sure, but does...

The bird has black flight feathers and clear white wing patches that show in flight, and a yellowish/brownish coloured body. Any ideas what...

    Tree, Shanghai

Does anyone recognise this shanghai tree? It's very common and planted along streets, it also has black berries which have begun to drop recently, these berries are all over the ground and birds like to eat them. What kind of a tree is this?

    Shanghai Butterflies

Hello everyone! I need some help in IDing these butterflies, does anyone know what they are? The file size of the pictures is too large to post them here, so I'll describe them. 1. A large black butterfly with a white band across each wing. 2. Another black butterfly, but with bright blue...

    Balcony Bird Feeding

Not often, but sometimes I see tree sparrows perching around the area. There are other birds in the area but the sparrows are the only ones I've ever seen up near the balconies.

    Balcony Bird Feeding

Alright so I have some bird food and some feeders. But I live in an apartment, on the 16th floor (there's 30 floors in total, in the apartment.) My question is, do you think birds would go that high to eat? Would they even notice if I put out food from that height? And, what are some things I...

    Light-vented Bulbul

Today I saw two light-vented bulbuls perch in a tree. One of them turned to the other one, sort of hunched down a bit, and vibrated its wings at the other one, which flew away. I haven't seen this behaviour before and assumed it was a dominance display or something, is that true?

    The Elusive Kingfisher

I know, they're so difficult to photograph! They tend to perch places where you can't see them well as well.
