    Please excuse the quality of the photos, this bird was a long way off. I was wondering if it is an Albatross of some kind, or a gull. Sea birds are very new to me.

    Young Woodpecker, Nottingham Road area

    This was the 100th bird that I saw on my trip in October. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to get the photo of the parent passing the caterpillar to this youngster. I was thinking it's a Bearded Woodpecker, but I'm not sure.
