CA On The Noctivid
Do I need to worry about CA on the Noctivid? I think I am sensitive to this phenomenon--I've noticed it on multiple binoculars, although nothing so high-end as the Noctivids. Lateral Color Fringing
After being very hopeful about the demo Maven 9x45 and 11x45 binoculars, I went out with them and noticed almost the same amount of lateral color fringing (chromatic aberration) with the Maven B2 that I did with the Celestron Trailseekers. 8x25 / 10x25 Zeiss Terra ED Carrying Case
Anyone have any recommendations for a carrying case for the Zeiss Terra ED binoculars with the 25mm objective? Zeiss makes a reasonable one for $30, but just wondering if anyone has tried any others. -

Cleaning Sand From Binocular
Well, a beach/birding trip and my wife is not too careful with equipment, and there is enough sand in my Celestron Trailseekers that the focus is very rough and has a gritty feel. Has anyone done any partial disassembly and cleaning of binoculars? It looks doable. Anyone done this? A few...- b3rd

Interesting Green Heron Behavior on Wrightsville Beach
We are visiting Wrightsville Beach (right next to the Coast Guard Station on the southern side) and there is a tree (right on the beach) that fills up nightly with Green Herons.
