    Previous Gen Alpha "Mystique"

Just had a deal for a pre-swarovision EL 10x42...then things fell through. Back to searching for a previous gen alpha, and hopefully - through someplace other than eBay.

    Previous Gen Alpha "Mystique"

I've done some searching, and found a few folks selling early 2000s ELs. They don't go for anywhere near $500. Much closer to double that. If I recall, retail was about $1500-1600

    Previous Gen Alpha "Mystique"

Have enjoyed the discussion here. Recently found a year 2000 made EL 10x42 that has seen some use, shows wear on the body, but glass appears good. A quick google search shows these retailed around $1550 USD. For nearly a 20 year old bino, I'm having a difficult time pricing an offer to the...

    Objective Covers

When I ripped my objective cover on my B1s, I just called Meopta. They sent me 2 pair, free of charge. Now i have a back up.

    SLC Field Pro?

Sorry ETC, no Field Pro covers for the SLC binos. Just the regular rubber O-ring on the outside of the objective. Leica got it right with the Noctivid. Swaro got it right with the EL Field Pro. Nikon got it right with the MHG. If I had to guess, the SLC won't ever get the Field Pro...

    SLC Field Pro?

Absolutely love the built in objective covers of the EL Field Pro. Any chance we see a updated SLC where the Field Pro concept gets carried over?

swarovski sv 10x42 or zeiss sf 10x42

@chill6x6 ...Awesome photo! If I took all 3 of those binos, taped up the logos, the armor, etc - basically made it difficult for you to know which was which, and then you tossed em up to your eyes...which view - in your opinion - is just the most "wow, wow, wow"

New Generation Tract Toric 10X42 Schott HT

Is it ok to add that I don't like the chosen grey armor? It makes it look somewhat cheap-industrial. JMO.

    Better than Zeiss Conquest HD?

I'll be interested to see what you purchase to "one up" the Conquest HD. I recently sold some Meopta B1 HDs, mostly because I'm a picky viewer. They have a great view, but I wanted a little more from my glass. I imagine that I'm about to learn a lesson that many others already know...making...

Always used 10x but thinking about switching to 8x

I share a similar experience. I've used all 10x, but had the chance to spend some time with the 8x32 ELs. I came away thinking that I'd like to use 8x. And I have to wonder if part of that is the beautiful view through those 8x32 ELs. I have a sneaky feeling they could do it all...

    Available March 2018

Oh so true. They are a fine looking binocular to look at! Still need to make time to look through them. Its completely irrational and silly to say this...but the green makes me want to buy more than the black. But I can see how traditionalist for Leica would think otherwise.
