    Brown-feathered bird in wood (UK)

    Hi all, I spotted this bird today in a wood in Cambridge, England. It had pale brown wings and a white belly. The beak was really small (but couldn't tell if hooked). Any ideas on what it might have been? I think possibly a buzzard or barn owl (?) but not sure. I've attached rather terrible...
