Northern Germany - Elbe river - which swan?
Hello, I am uncertain about the following ID of a juvenile (I guess) swan. General plumage appearance was grayish (photos don't show it correctly). My tendency goes towards Whooper Swan. Or could it be a Tundra/Bewick's swan? I am excluding a Mute Swan. Correct? Thank you for your opinion...- WRL

Unknown (Shore?) Bird - Northern Germany
Hello, on October 7th, 2021 I watched, amongst others, a (shore?) bird I cannot ID. The setting was marsh land at a confluent to the river Elbe (estuary, close to the North Sea), Germany. Please see attached photos (I mean of course the bird between the mallards). Any ideas? Thank you and...- WRL

CANON 8x20 IS - operating noise?
