    A blue from North India

    I took this blue in the hotel gardens whilst in Agra. Is it a Leptotes or a female Catachrysops strabo, the dots on the front edge of the hindwing seem to imply C. strabo: Can any one help? My inclination is female C. strabo.

    What did I whack?

    It came down out of the trees to pickup a roadkill, about the size of a crow, reddish brown and white striped underneath, could see the jesses as it took off again, oncomming traffic and Audi tailgating so no room to maneuver, thump as it hit the side of the bonnet.
