    Hello from Singapore, Binocular help

Thanks for the suggestions & comments. I’ve been busy over the weekend and even busier at work these past few days, so haven’t been able to consider your recommendations nor reply, but I will do so when there’s more time. Just here to say I’m not ignoring everyone! 😆

    Hello from Singapore, Binocular help

Thank you @delia todd , @Kits , @KC Foggin for your welcomes. I’m looking forward to learning a lot more about birds here. And also thanks to @dries1 for the good suggestion to get the GPOs rather than Sky Rover in case repairs are needed. I did look at the Cloudy Nights link that...

    Hello from Singapore, Binocular help

Have been to Astro Scientific (they’re the one at the Science Centre, right?) and sadly the brand they carry didn’t seem to...

Hi everyone, I intend to get a pair of binoculars for an African safari trip later this year, and started my research early so that I’m able to make a considered purchase in good time. After some fits & starts, I happened to stumble on this forum and it is a Godsend!! So informative and rich in...

    Is GPO Passion ED tripod-adaptable?

Hi all, I’ve been lurking here for a while and have learnt a lot about binoculars and what to look for. I’m looking to get a pair of binoculars for a safari trip to East Africa later in the year, and will also use it for birdwatching in my neighborhood (in Singapore) before & after the trip...
