    Is this a Dotted Bee-fly?

    I photographed this bee mimic yesterday in Wiltshire, England and am told it is probably Dotted Bee-fly, a scarce species of 'southern' Britain. Note the incredible proboscis! Can anyone please confirm the identification? Many thanks

    A neat adaptor for the Samsung NV3
