    orcombe point is a good place to start. you can sea watch and work the bushes. if you're staying at devon cliffs(haven) it a lovelly walk along the cliff tops.

    oh yes. mamaged to take my daughter yesterday, she very good. i took my son to bowling green, gave him a target of birds to see and he really enjoyed himself, he's 5 now!!!!!!

    a woodlark was singing on haytor saturday afternoon. also present was a large flock of golden plover, ravens, yellowhammer,stonechat and a wren.

    i did go down to the pub and did see 2 white egret type birds, 1 was a definate egret the other was just to far to call 100%. i wont tick it yet!!

    which side of the river were you on cos i went down this morning and saw no spoon. loads of redshank from passage house, little grebe, a single dunlin, a hand full of mipits and 3 mergansers.

    3 cattle egret in the field next to the chruch in powderham. i also had a look for partridge. anyone have any ideas?

    there were some only 4/5 years ago. they started in newton abbot and flew around the local area for about 3 weeks. would be nice to see them again.

    had a nice time at the warren this morning, managed a merlin and a couple of arctic skuas. looks like the weather should bring something at the end of the week!!!
