    Mandarin ducks in Cumbria

    Hi, Just wondering if anyone has seen any mandarins this year on Windermere? I've had a look at a few old bird reports and it seems Fell Foot is a good site. Has anybody got any other suggestions on where is a good viewing point for them? Thanks! :)

    Manfrotto column clamp

    Can anybody confirm for me that the Manfrotto MN-349 column clamp is compatible with the 190 CX3 tripod? I just wondered as I'm not too sure whether it's possible to use the clamp with the 190 CX3's three-faceted centre column, or if it can only be used with circular centre columns? Thanks!

    Red Necked Phalarope in Cumbria

    Saw my first Red Necked Phalarope today! If anyone lives in South Cumbria get yourself to Leece near Barrow. Very obliging, juv/1st winter, should be a good one for photographing or digiscoping! :D
