    Ultra-light Whooping Cranes

    The first wild Whooping crane chick of the eastern migratory flock was hatched in Wisconsin. These are the birds that were taught the migration route by ultra-light airplanes. It's a very cool (and worthwhile) project. Pictures here: http://www.operationmigration.org/Field_Journal.html
