    8.5 X 50 shasta ridge

    Amazon had them for 180. US . You need to type in the whole Shasta ridge 8.5 x 50mm . Great sharpness without paying for a Brand name overhead . I'm sure its a renamed product currently reviewed . I think the 8.5 X 50 throws people off as non standard . Huge eye relief for eye glasses users ...

    This lens is happy on a 681B monopod over my shoulder on 10 mile hikes. Much easier to pack / Haul than the longer lenses . There is a bit of a learning curve on the lens operation for the sweet spot . Once you can fine tune focus to help or over ride field conditions . Life is good . Hans K.
