    Thanks for the reply Andy. I've sent it off for a gen. det. as the head and thorax appear to show long white scales. I'll update the post when I get the result.

    Tiny moth for ID. Trapped last night in E. Surrey. About the size of a V-pug but obviously not that. New photo added that shows partly opened wings.

    I'm pretty sure this is a Mottled Grey (Colostygia multistrigaria) but the photo is so ridiculously small thatit's impossible to be certain. Terry, can you post an image that's bigger than 4kb ? Update - it must have been my system that reduced the photo size to 4kb as when I copied it again it...
