    Thanks. Thats so cool that I got the id right based on behavior alone. Well almost. I did rule out some local residents like starling based on beak shape etc. I never did actually see the sparrow feed them. Maybe they caught on!

    I don't ever see Cowbirds in my back yard but can't figure out want this juvenile is. But evey time i seen them they had there mouth open like they wanted fed and was following the sparrows around which do nest along my yard.
