    Strange arthropod for ID

    Hi there, I recently saw two of the attached creature wriggling out of a saline lagoon over dry land in Corsica. I have never seen a creature like it. It was plated, had no obvious legs just tiny spikes between the plates and look almost identicle on top as below. Just a more silver grey below...

    Lizard ID from Albania

    Marbled Newt

    Hi there, I was in the Serra Da Estrela NP in Portugal last October and at just under 1700m in a fast flowing mountain spring I found a Marbled Newt. I presume it is Triturus marmoratus marmoratus (Northern) and not T. m. pygmaeus (southern/pygmy)? Any thoughts appreciated. Cracking creature.

    Odd Collared Dove- Hants

    Eagle Species. Bialowieza, February 13.

    Odd pipit?, Glos, UK

    I saw this bird a few times getting up with a flock of Meadow pipit. It was easy to pick out amongst the flock in flight due to the shorter tail and different flight. I didn't see it on the ground and didn't hear it call unfortunately. Shocking pics I know. Thanks for any input.
