    SOFT 100-400 Canon -help!

    Bought my 100-400 over a year ago from Simply Electronics. It does not focus sharply. I know this is an age old problem and I need to have it calibrated correctly. I know there have been discussions over this matter on here many times. I would really welcome some snappy advice on the best way...

    40D but which lens?

    I have a 40D and considering either Canon 100-400is, 400 prime or 300is with 1.4 converter. Anyone know if AF will work on the 300 with 1.4 converter? I'm told the latter is a great option. Any views on which lens will offer best results for bird photography using the 40D would be gratefully...
