    My Cabelas Euro HD 8x32 (supposedly the equivalent of Meostar B1.1) has a serial number start with 17. I purchased it brand new in Nov 2020.

    Pro Guide 8x32?

    By the look, those BX-4 seems to come from the same factory of the BX-3 Mojave, which is a good thing: made in Japan. Also it has calcium-fluoride glass lenses, hence the name HD. Can't wait for Cabelas to update its Guide Series to these. Sent from my ONE A2005 using Tapatalk

    Just placed an order of 8x42 Toric before the $100 discount expire tonight. I already have a 8x42 Leica Trinovid (2012-2015) which has a similar FOV of 7.2 degree as the 8x42 Toric.

    Thanks for the comment. Meopro HD has schott fluoride hd glass, which should put it among the best of CA control.

    I read from various sources that CA control is a bit lousy on the Trinovid 10x42 model when comparing 10x42 Ultravid HD (or plus). OP, what's your observation of CA on the Trinovid 8x42 model, compared with Ultravid plus 8x42?

    Steve, my assumption is that Viper 8x42 has better resolving power than Monarch 8x42. Then Viper 10x42 w.r.t Zen 10x43 is relatively worse than Viper 8x42 w.r.t Zen 8x43.

    Does this imply Viper 10x42 is substantially worse than Viper 8x42? I got the impression that Viper gets similar optics to Stokes DLS which has been on sale price of $399 for the 10x42 model lately. Nice price, but I guess I'll wait for the price drop for the 8x42 Stokes.
