Quick visit this afternoon when I finished mulching the garden with the "coup compost". Along to the hide end to look for any waxwing but no luck. Seen a Spotted Redshank in the bay and the silver/blue, orange/yellow ringed Dipper in the burn. Also seen the fox coming up the track that leads... -

Nice evening at the park from 6.00 - 7.30 with the wind easing and sun shining. Seen what I thought was Kawwauser's tuftie on the lochan but close look through the scope identified it as a Scaup and new one for the park 103. Sent a couple of digiscoped pics to Barry who confirms a scaup and we... -

Took rubbish to the dump and had a quick 5 min look for the lesser whitethroat. No luck but did get a spotted flycatcher and a goldcrest. -

Birding at Loch of Kinnordy
Darell, Seen both Marsh Harriers today at Kinnordy but thought the male might not be a full adult. A visit to the Tay reed beds on the way home got me another pair and the female seemed to be the tagged one that was hanging about Kinnordy a few weeks ago. Anyone know how many marsh harriers... -

Birding at Loch of Kinnordy
Last time I was at Kinnordy it was ice bound and deserted! Today the place is teeming with birds. Seen the Bittern in bay left far side from Gullery Hide. Also male Hen Harrier on fence far side from Swamp Hide. Marvelous -

Eden Estuary News
Rob, A Little Egret appeared here across the Tay at Kingoodie. I first seen it during the airshow and it was still here Sunday. May well be the same bird. Graham
