    First outing of season at El toucanet lodge

    I've seen the Flame-throated warbler at La Lorena, just above Bajos del Volcán Turrialba. It was in May this year. I saw an incredible display of more than ten quetzals the very next morning.

    Note that the count date for the CATIE in Turrialba is December 18th, not 14th.
