Robin - up close and personal!

This robin at my local country park is getting friendlier and friendlier, paticulary now that I'm giving him some mealworms! No sign of a potential valentine for him yet, but he does have a glint in his eye!

    And the sun DID shine!

And the sun did shine today, so on my visit to the Manor Farm CP for my daily stroll, robin appeared again for a good photocall. Also found a field full of redwings, but they were too far off for any decent photo.
  23. Another noisy robin!

    Another noisy robin!

I was visiting the local Manor Farm country park near Botley yesterday, and discovered this very tame robin - one of many around the farm area. I returned today and managed to get within a few feet of him, and grab a better shot of him sounding off! I hope he's still there when the sun is out!

A really great photo - they can certainly make a racket as I discovered the other evening when walking passed a bush near my house. I guess at this time of year they are starting to look for a mate. MM
