Spent several hours up The Rumps during today. Sightings include 1 Artic Skua, 1 Great Skua, 200 or so Manx Shearwaters, 2 juvenile Peregrines harrassing a poor old Manx Shearwater very close to shore. There was a very large movement of Gannets, I would guess about a hundred. The highlight for... -

A late trip up The Rumps this evening produced 1 Arctic Skua, half a dozen Gannets, several Wheatears and 1 Sparrowhawk. Also of note were several Ocean Sunfish being attended to by Gulls, presumably to pick off parasites? Conditions look good for Monday so hopefully there will be a few more... -

Spent a few hours up The Rumps this afternoon. Only around 100 or so Manx Shearwaters and 20 Razorbills and Guillemots, about 50 Gannets and 10 Kittiwakes, 2 Great Skuas and 2 cracking Pomarine Skuas all moving westwards. A couple of hours early this morning up The Rumps produced roughly 300 Manx Shearwaters, at least one (probably 2) Balearic Shearwater, 2 Great Skuas, 2 Arctic Skuas, a dozen or so Kittiwakes, 40-50 Razorbills and Guillemots, around 100 Gannets and 2 Peregrines. While watching two Dolphins (probable Bottlenose) from Trebetherick Point this morning I noticed a Common Eider off shore. Watched it for about an hour and it moved from being off shore at polzeath to the entrance of the estuary. All the best, Edward.
