Monkeys - Roatan Island, Belize and Panama - Feb 2024

My apologies for adding unnecessary confusion. The first one (3733) was taken in Costa Maya which is in fact Mexico on the eastern side of the Yucatan peninsula. The second shot was in Panama

Swallows - Central America Feb 2024

Probably the final question from my recent trip. Image 3833 was at Harvest Caye and 4071 in Panama. I'm uncertain whether these are Mangrove or Blue and White Swallows - or maybe something else? All guidance and help appreciated. Andy

    Lizard, Miami Beach

I saw this on South Beach. It appears to fit the description of an Agama (if so, which species), but I understood those were only found in Africa? All help would be much appreciated. Andy

    Grackles - Port Antonio, Jamaica

I think the first image, 7542, is a Carib Grackle but the second bird looks different - perhaps a Great-tailed grackle. Correction/confirmation would be much appreciated. Many thanks. Andy

Are they all Royal Terns? The second and third birds from the left of 7561 do not appear to have black heads. Andy

While 7462 fits the ID for a banaquit, is 7463 also a banaquit as the markings are quite different. Help appreciated. Andy

Terns and gulls near Cartagena, Colombia

Sorry, 4238 is as good as it gets. The second image, 4239 was taken only just over 1minute later, and the bird in question had gone.

Hi, Another photo attached but not that sure it helps, and it's quite heavily cropped. Andy

Terns and gulls near Cartagena, Colombia

Seen on my recent travels. 1. I suspect 4238 are Common Terns but the "crest" is causing me some doubt. 2. I wonder whether 4243 and 4249 are Forster's Terns? 3. I suspect 4252 are Black-headed Gulls 4. Same as 3 above? I'm grateful for confirmation, clarification or corrections. TIA Andy

    Little Blue Heron

Seen in a small mangrove forest from a trip on a small boat around the island.

    Montezuma Oropendola

A quite large bird with an amazing call. We were on a walk in the rainforest which lived up to its name. The rain is visible on the photo!
  21. Black Guillemots

    Black Guillemots

Their red mouths are amazing - and colour-co-ordinated with their feet! Usually found in single or smalls groups of pairs, at this location, Vigur in Iceland, they were in large numbers.

    Costa Maya area, Mexico

I think that both the Egrets are Snowy but not 100% sure so would appreciate confirmation (or correction). The swallow is more difficult as this was the only angle I could shoot from. It seems to be quite grey so I'm wondering if it's either a Grey-breasted Martin or a Bank Swallow - or maybe...
