    Hi Neil In your second set of pics all the shots depict classic Mealies lots of broad streaking everywhere especially the longest undertail covert being arrowhead shape rather than evenly narrow. G

    All the latest birds are mealies, the last one however does show a few pro Arctic characters. Such as lack of strong ear covert surround flank streaking ending halfway along flanks and tone of upperparts lacking obvious braces. but the bill is way long and the pink is becoming truly red around...

    Went back to Redhouse today but the flock was very flighty and only settled once long enough to get the scope on. I have chucked some seed down on the floor so hopefully they will be more settled once they have found it in a day or so. As for the birds on the main thread I think bird in post...
