    Ficedula Noted. Does it need wing venations and genitalia or are some of the group identifiable by wing venations alone? Presumably the wing venations are identifiable by hand lens and/or decent photos? What are the potential species names of the group? Very many thanks Paul

    Caddis-Fly Identification - This Weekend

    Is the attached caddis-fly identifiable? It came to an actinic light in Clevedon, North Somerset at the weekend. The forewing length was 23mm. It had an obvious pale stripe along the top. The wings appeared relatively uniform save for the darker mark at 3/4s and the accompanying veins. If not...
