    Whoops!:-O My current field guide which is "The Field Guide to the Dragonflies of Britain and Europe by Dijkstra and Lewington" It seems to be the one most recommended but as you say doesn't illustrate immatures very well BB

    This photo taken in Sweden looks to me to be a leucorrhinia dubia , white faced darter. What confuses me is the colour of the Pterostigma. The top right appears brownish which coincides with the information in My Field Guide but the others are white? Can someone enlighten me? Is it an immature...
