    You're right I think. Obviously having a brain dead day yesterday. The reddish marks where the wings join the thorax are the clue - possibly common darter, the stripes on the legs being hidden?

    If they were in England I'd say: 1 is probably Keeled skimmer Orthetrum coerulescens 2 I'd guess at Southern damselfly Coanagrion mercuriale and 4 is blacktailed skimmer Orthetrum cancellatum but there may be species in france which are better matches. 3 is somewhat like white legged so I'd...
